Welcome to COM Week

Flagler College's annual Communication Week has been a campus tradition since 2005. Started by Rosemary Tutt, the goal was to offer students in St. Augustine the chance to network with professionals the way that students in bigger schools or bigger cities could.

That mission still stands today - connecting students to communication professionals from around the world and opening their eyes to the breadth of opportunities available for students who study communication. Throughout its 18 years, COM Week speakers have included Pulitzer Prize winners, authors, war correspondents, digital content creators, agency executives, photographers, health communicators, not-for-profit founders, producers, directors, influencers, filmmakers, and more. The week also serves to highlight and celebrate students' projects and achievements both in their work at Flagler College and after graduation.

Stay tuned for information about COM Week 2024, March 4 - 7, 2024.

COM Week 2023: The Truth About Communication

Truth is complicated. For some, truth means accuracy and objectivity. For others, it means authenticity in representation. For others, it means following ethical standards and codes. And for still others, it is in seeking answers and finding your own path.

Flagler College's COM Week examines "The Truth About Communication" through myriad lenses and a variety of conversations with communication professionals from around the globe. Join us March 6 - 9 to explore truth - whatever it means to you - through a series of speakers, panels, workshops and other events.
