Join us for the annual COM Week speech competition. Students test their public speaking abilities in a 3- to 5-minute speech responding to this year's prompt for a chance to win a cash prize. Space for speakers is limited, so please register below.

The Truth About Communication

Filmmakers - ready your pens and your cameras for a filmmaking contest with a cash prize. Students should make a 60-second film about anything that gets the audience to consider the truth (or lies) of mass communication and related technologies to enter COM Week's first-ever One-Minute Film Festival. Join us for a screening of the entries and the award ceremony. Register as a filmmaker or filmmaking team below.

The Truth about the Low-Budget Indie Workshop

Screenwriter, filmmaker and producer Lorraine Portman will meet with a small group of students over lunch for a workshop in conjunction with Women in Film and Television Florida. Discussion of low budget indie production and making the most of film festivals with information geared specifically to student filmmakers. Space is limited, so please register below.
